About The Position

Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of the Loan Operations activities, ensuring timely, professional and accurate service while meeting appropriate service level agreements. Provides leadership, coaching, workflow management, and operational support to the Loan Operations team. Ensures all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines. This position serves as the primary operational support and backup to the Loan Operations Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing daily departmental activities while supporting the Manager's strategic, compliance, staffing, and operational objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related and progressive experience
  • 4- 6 years of experience in loan operations
  • At least two years of supervision of others

Responsibilities

  • Optimize team talents by providing leadership and coaching to individuals by establishing clear goals, championing the culture, determining staffing needs, recruiting, hiring and onboarding talent, documenting and conducting annual performance reviews, conducting ongoing one on one coaching sessions, managing employee performance issues, and participating in leadership training opportunities.
  • Oversee the functionality of the Loan Operations department to ensure timely and accurate completion of servicing, booking, documenting, reporting and quality assurance reviews. Monitor departmental SLAs, review quality trends, coordinate corrective actions, monitor system maintenance, provide production support, analyze quality and exception trends, achieve satisfactory audits and compliance reviews, implement departmental process improvements, manage department priorities and team workloads, provide adequate training, and monitor services offered.
  • Accurately process complex transaction requests with established service level agreements. Create and review standard and complex loan documents. Perform critical loan and lease file maintenance. Review complex operational transactions and maintenance requests.
  • Manage or assist with system upgrades and roll outs of new products and services by partnering with applicable departments, supporting implementation and training activities, and monitoring performance of new products/services.
