This role serves as the main point of contact for detailed loan inquiries, history research, and core loan system questions. The Specialist will provide follow-up to ensure all needs are met efficiently. Responsibilities include serving dealers face-to-face with payoffs and drafts for collection, processing mailed-in and automated report items for deposit and/or payments to applicable accounts (including credit insurance payments, consumer loan payoffs, and total loss settlements), and establishing new consumer loans by ensuring accurate information is set up in relevant systems. The role also ensures the salability of collateralized consumer loans, reviews and completes loan correction requests, rate modifications, and payment error research. Additionally, the Specialist will compile and submit required documentation to vendors for credit insurance and total loss claims, produce standard letters for lien releases and payment histories, and maintain product accuracy by reviewing critical documents and reports. Verification of title work documentation, completion of lien filings, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of lien filings with finance companies, state DMV offices, and dealers are key duties. The role also involves releasing liens on collateral items once loan agreements are satisfied, categorizing and filing paper documents, completing quality checks of documents in the optical system, processing incoming oil and gas drafts for collection, and ensuring follow-up on outstanding items.
