LOAN OFFICER
About The Position
CU Mortgage Services is hiring a commission-driven Mortgage Loan Officer in Orland Park, IL. This role involves helping members secure residential mortgage and refinance solutions, including new construction, Freddie/Fannie, and specialized programs. The position offers support from in-house processors and underwriters, warm referrals and qualified leads from credit union branches, and the opportunity to build a strong pipeline and increase earning potential. The company has nearly 30 years of experience and is part of Tech Credit Union, recognized as "Best in the Region" for three consecutive years.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience originating residential mortgage loans
- Proven ability to grow and maintain a referral network
- Strong knowledge of mortgage regulations and guidelines
- A customer-first mindset with documentation of past production success
Responsibilities
- Work with credit union Members to offer tailored mortgage and refinance solutions.
- Develop relationships with branch staff, realtors, and business partners to generate loans.
- Provide expert guidance and outstanding service throughout the lending process.
