About The Position

Loan Officer – Real Estate Team Partnership (Charleston, SC) We are a high-producing real estate team based in Charleston, SC, with a large and consistent flow of buyer clients . We are partnering with our preferred lender, Guild Mortgage, to bring on an additional Loan Officer who will work closely with our team and our buyers . Our team generates significant buyer demand through marketing, referrals, and agent relationships. We are looking for a Loan Officer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at follow-up and communication, and wants to grow their business with a steady stream of opportunities . This role is ideal for a Loan Officer who already has some experience in the mortgage industry and is looking to increase production by partnering directly with an active real estate team . Requirements

  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator license (or ability to obtain one)
  • Must be located in or willing to work in Charleston, South Carolina
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent follow-up and organizational habits
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and transactions simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a team partnership environment
  • Customer-service oriented with a strong sense of urgency

Nice To Haves

  • Previous mortgage lending or loan officer experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with our real estate team to assist buyer clients with mortgage pre-approvals and financing options
  • Provide excellent communication and follow-up with clients throughout the loan process
  • Build strong relationships with our agents and clients to ensure a smooth transaction experience
  • Educate buyers on loan programs, rates, and financing options
  • Maintain consistent contact with new leads and past clients
  • Collaborate with our real estate agents to help move transactions smoothly from contract to closing
  • Manage loan applications, documentation, and timelines in coordination with the lending team
  • Provide a high-level customer experience that reflects both the real estate team and Guild Mortgage
