About The Position

You’ll grow your portfolio by building new client relationships and expanding existing ones, meet with business clients, understand their needs, and structure smart lending solutions. You will analyze financials, cash flow, and credit risk to make sound lending decisions, prepare and present loan packages for approval, monitor loan performance and proactively manage risk and portfolio quality. You will also work with clients to resolve issues, including delinquencies or loan restructuring, partner across the organization by referring clients to other banking services, represent the bank at community events, trade shows, and networking opportunities, and contribute to projects, committees, and initiatives that support the Lending Division.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years in a financial institution, including direct lending experience
  • Background in sales or account management (small business lending is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit structures, and accounting principles
  • Ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights
  • Confident communicator who builds trust with clients and colleagues alike
  • Self-starter who can prioritize, problem-solve, and take initiative
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Detail-oriented with sharp analytical and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Comfort using standard office equipment and systems
