About The Position

This role is for a Field Loan Officer at Lennar Mortgage, focused on building relationships with clients and homebuilding associates through face-to-face interactions. Responsibilities include conducting on-site meetings, assessing financial data, guiding customers on mortgage products, and facilitating the loan process according to the Lennar Mortgage roadmap. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in articulating product or service features, benefits, and value
  • A genuine passion for going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • BA or BS preferred
  • Mortgage or banking experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Participate in formal training programs covering lending aspects, including loan types, creditworthiness assessment, and the loan approval process.
  • Train with a manager on mortgage rate sheets to accurately price and lock loans.
  • Review daily/weekly/monthly reports to understand the mortgage process from application to closing.
  • Successfully complete testing for mortgage licensing and appropriate state licensing.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of RESPA through continuing education courses.
  • Update loan applications with missing data.
  • Maintain notes within the Loan Origination System for complete information exchange.
  • Occasionally provide initial setup of loan files.
  • Participate in builder and realtor functions to develop and maintain relationships.
  • Work with Division Manager and Loan Officers on local marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure borrowers can easily reach out through various channels (phone, email, chat) and receive prompt responses.
  • Act as a primary contact between borrowers and Loan Officers, scheduling and conducting meetings as needed to discuss follow-up issues.
  • Assist processors and closers in procuring loan documents from borrowers and other entities.
  • Engage and assist internal associates through various channels (phone, email, chat) and receive prompt responses.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed.
