About The Position

The Mortgage Link is a growing mortgage company dedicated to helping families and veterans achieve homeownership. We are seeking a motivated, energetic Part-Time Loan Officer Assistant to help generate opportunities, nurture leads, and support our mortgage team through outbound prospecting and relationship building. The Loan Officer Assistant serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients and referral partners. This role focuses on outbound calling, lead follow-up, appointment setting, database management, and relationship building. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys talking with people, is comfortable on the phone, and is motivated by both hourly pay and performance-based incentives.

Requirements

  • Previous sales, customer service, call center, appointment-setting, or mortgage experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls throughout the day.
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented.
  • Organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator license preferred.
  • Candidates without a license must be willing to obtain licensing, with company support and training available for the right individual.
  • Mortgage industry experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to prospective homebuyers, homeowners, past clients, and referral partners.
  • Follow up with company-generated leads and marketing inquiries.
  • Qualify prospects and schedule appointments for loan consultations.
  • Maintain accurate records in the company CRM.
  • Follow up through phone, text, and email communication.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and referral partners.
  • Track daily activity and appointment-setting goals.
  • Assist with database management and lead nurturing campaigns.
  • Support business growth through consistent prospecting efforts.
