About The Position
Our company is seeking a Loan Documentation Specialist to join our team. The Loan Documentation Specialist will be responsible for maintaining physical and computerized records of loans, ensuring that records are accurate and current, with the purpose of minimizing the bank's risk position. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain notes and collateral files.
- Responsible for record keeping of any files checked in or out.
- Provide support for clients, lenders, attorneys, insurance companies, title companies, and participating banks.
- Segregate BIC files as required by Federal Reserve.
- Monitor various reports and make any necessary adjustments in computer system to codes, payments, due dates, and billings.
- Provides information for loan payoff requests, credit references and participation loan audits.
- Respond to credit disputes and maintain accurate credit reporting. Starting as backup position.
- Monitors Paid Outs and prepares collateral releases. Starting as backup position.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
