Job Description Prepares and executes clerical duties related to processing consumer/commercial loans and documentation in accordance with Loan Processing Department guidelines and policies. Word Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • minimum five years banking experience (loan related experience preferred)
  • basic knowledge of computer applications such as the Internet, Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and banking software.
  • Ability to use basic office machines.
  • Ability to learn bank-specific software such as MPC, IBS, ADP, etc.
  • Ability and judgment to interact and communicate appropriately with other employees, customers and supervisor.
  • Ability to serve customers, both internal and external, (community/public) in a manner that will reflect superior customer relations and enhance the overall marketing effort of Origin Bank.

Nice To Haves

  • Laser Pro and IBS Core System experience helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and prepares loan packages and documentation following underwriting guidelines and policies
  • Prepares consumer/commercial loan closing documents using nCino and TruStage documentation software for all markets
  • Prepares less complex loan transactions
  • Reviews loan applications in nCino for appropriate information and approval.
  • Prepares promissory notes and collateral documentation using TruStage
  • Applies appropriate state and federal guidelines to loan processing function and stays abreast of regulatory changes and applies information as needed.
  • If needed, check status of entities with Secretary of State (TX, MS, LA, AL & FL).
