About The Position
The Loan Documentation Specialist is responsible for preparing files for both commercial and consumer loans. Key duties include reviewing and understanding title commitments, comprehending legal entities and their specific requirements for loans, and understanding commercial loan documents, collateral, and the process to perfect security. The role also involves scanning and indexing documents and requires proficiency in multiple software programs. The specialist must be detail-oriented, capable of handling high-volume workloads, working independently, and effectively problem-solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience required.
- Knowledge of banking regulations, commercial and consumer loan documents.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Detail oriented and able to handle high volume workloads.
- Must be able to work independently and problem solve effectively.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products is preferred.
- High degree of typing accuracy preferred.
