As a Loan Closing Analyst Senior - Commercial within PNC's Real Estate organization, you will be based in office within one of the posted locations. As an ideal Loan Closing Analyst Senior - Commercial candidate, you will be able to demonstrate strong expertise in Affordable Housing program documentation, including LURAs/Regulatory Agreements, Bond Indentures, and other required programmatic documents. Be proficient in leading internal, bond external, and borrower-facing calls; reviewing and reporting on monthly construction monitoring reports; and efficiently managing complex bond closing timelines, rate locks, closing conditions, and Preliminary Operating Statement requirements. This role involves closing varied and more complex loans without supervision and disbursing loan funds. It requires preparing and/or reviewing all loan documents for completeness and accuracy with discretion, independently weighing financial risks, and reviewing documentation and verifying work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy and conformance to established service levels and applicable policies and procedures. The analyst reviews complex loan-closing documentation based on approval documentation, shares best practices with team members, recommends process improvements, and represents the department on projects and initiatives. They participate on deal teams with negotiations of legal documentation, review and validate due diligence, and partner with internal and/or external business partners to complete transactions. The role also involves identifying and addressing exceptions, escalating appropriately, and potentially interacting with customers or managing assigned accounts/portfolios. The analyst provides responses and documentation to inquiries and ad hoc requests and completes loan set up sheets and other necessary documentation for entry into the bank's loan system. They may schedule time frames for loan closings based on loan commitments and customer needs.

Requirements

  • University / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Closes varied and more complex loans without supervision and disburses loan funds.
