About The Position

The Loan Boarding Associate supports the accurate and timely setup of loans into the bank’s core system following closing. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to develop a strong foundation in lending support and loan operations within a community banking environment. This position works closely with internal partners to ensure loans are boarded correctly and in accordance with bank policy and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail with the ability to consistently produce accurate, high-quality work in a regulated environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven proficiency in high-volume, accurate data entry and validation across multiple systems
Ability to stay on task with complex repetitive work
Capacity to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with competing priorities
Ability to quickly learn, apply and adapt to new systems, processes and regulatory requirements
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage fluctuating workloads
Effective problem solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Ability to leverage available resources, systems and reference materials to research and resolve inquiries independently
Strong understanding of how loan setup, servicing entries and monetary transactions impact clients and the Bank.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat; ability to navigate and utilize core banking and loan systems efficiently
