About The Position

Northrim Bank is seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and customer-focused individual to join their Commercial Loans team as a Loan Administrative Assistant. This full-time position supports loan officers in processing and managing all types of loans, from generating loan documents to reviewing and perfecting collateral. The role involves using automated software, collaborating with team members, and ensuring compliance with Northrim Bank’s underwriting guidelines and regulations. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of clerical experience in a lending environment (for Loan Administrative Assistant I).
  • 2+ years of experience in lending or loan operations, plus familiarity with loan documentation software like CSI Runtime or LaserPro (for Loan Administrative Assistant II).
  • 4+ years in lending with experience in complex commercial loans, SBA, AIDEA, or specialty loans (for Loan Administrative Assistant III).
  • Must be comfortable using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and adapting to new software tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and make decisions independently.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are a must!
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Generate accurate loan documents using automated software for new loans, renewals, and term changes.
  • Work closely with loan officers, reviewing loan documents and preparing for loan closings.
  • Provide top-tier customer service, resolving inquiries and ensuring smooth transactions for clients.
  • Ensure all documents are executed properly and all collateral is secured to protect Northrim Bank’s interests.
  • Disburse loan proceeds, process fees, and handle post-closing tasks like imaging loan documents.
  • Handle wire transfers, loan payments, advance requests, and payoffs.
