The Loadout Operator is responsible for accurately conducting pre-shift inspections and workplace exams daily. This role involves working from heights up to 120 feet and in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. The operator will load trucks to specified weights using a computer loading program and visually inspect trucks for contamination such as sand, concrete, asphalt, fertilizer, grain, and resin dust. Responsibilities also include accurately recording truck/trailer information, ensuring scale tickets are completed correctly, and maintaining general housekeeping throughout the loadout area, conveyors, and silos using various equipment. The operator must operate machinery safely and productively, unload pneumatic and belly dump trucks, and collect or assist in testing sand samples for sieve analysis. Accurate reporting of shift activities and tons pulled from silos is required, along with conducting general preventative maintenance on loadout equipment and assisting with plant maintenance and repairs as directed. The role also involves assisting truck drivers with data entry and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
