About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This position operates D6 dozers and related attachments to support production and site development activities. The role involves performing daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance, following site plans to move materials, grade surfaces, and maintain haul roads efficiently, and adhering to all safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations. Effective communication with team members is crucial to coordinate tasks and meet production targets.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to safely and effectively operate dozers and heavy equipment with attachments
Strong understanding of grading, site preparation, and material handling best practices
Commitment to workplace safety with the ability to follow procedures and identify hazards
Reliable team player with strong communication and problem solving skills
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment checks and minor maintenance
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.
