About The Position

OVERVIEW The Packaging Loading Operator unloads and loads empty package materials.

Requirements

Minimum of one year experience driving a forklift
Ability to maneuver in a confined area.
Ability to coordinate hand and foot controls.
To operate equipment properly, to prevent property damage and minimum hazard to self and fellow workers.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operates fork-lift in a safe, efficient manner.
Unloads and loads empty package materials from trucks and railroad care.
Supplies packaging house with specified orders.
Hauls empty pallets and drums from packing house to specified area for shipment.
Obtains equipment from designated location before work and returns equipment when work is complete.
Performs all jobs in accordance with established safety practices and sanitation standards.
