Position Summary BC Steel Buildings is seeking motivated and safety-focused General Laborers to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential to daily operations and supports multiple departments including fabrication, welding, material handling, and shop maintenance. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, learning new skills, and contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures
- Assist with fabrication, welding support, and basic machine operation
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility
- Operate hand tools and equipment such as grinders and other shop tools
- Support deliveries and material staging as needed
- Meet production and quality expectations
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned
