About The Position

Supports loading dock operations at a client facility under supervision. Coordinates tenant deliveries while providing excellent customer service. Maintains the loading dock to ensure a clean and safe environment through routine on-site maintenance and by assisting others with their duties.

Requirements

Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma.
Prior work experience illustrating good attendance, professional behavior, reliability.
Ability to follow orders given orally and in writing.
Basic computer and smartphone skills.
Ability to complete tasks, input data and complete paperwork with basic supervision.
Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools and paint.
Ability to stand, crouch, and climb to perform repairs, use ladder, and perform various types of manual labor.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Vision (with correction) sufficient for reading, performing repairs and painting.
Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Complies with all applicable Federal, State and Local codes, regulations and corporate policies/procedures related to building operations and work safety.
Coordinates and schedules deliveries.
Safely manages staging of delivery trucks when entering and leaving loading dock.
Assists the Maintenance Technicians with job assignments as directed.
Cleans grounds, common areas and loading dock areas.
Assists in moving offices.
Performs property-tending duties such as trash pick-up, bathroom clean-up/stocking supplies, and sweeping/mopping.
Snow removal.
Other duties as assigned.
Proactively identify and mitigate safety hazards.
Monitors and ensures staff and visitors in the loading dock are complying with safety policies and practices.
Monitors and coordinates trash/recycling removal and pick up of dumpsters.
As a first responder operations level, responsible for initiating procedures in the event of hazardous substance spill or release in the loading dock area.
Supports facility management team with alarm monitoring and response. Aware of fire alarm procedures, function, and panel locations.
