About The Position

Airgas is hiring for a Loader in Charlotte, NC! We are looking for you! This role requires adherence to strict safety protocols and quality standards to ensure continuous supply to customers. Join our team as a Plant Operator at Airgas USA, LLC where the candidate is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment and systems involved in the production, storage, and distribution of industrial gases.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Use hands and fingers to handle objects and tools.
Stand, talk, and hear frequently.
Walk, sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and smell occasionally.
Specific vision abilities required.
Lift heavy loads (25 to over 100 pounds).
Bend, stoop, crouch, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.
Safely operate a forklift.
Work outdoors in various temperatures.
Communicate effectively and detect gas leaks.

Responsibilities

Safely handle hazardous materials and cylinder gases, ensuring the well-being of yourself and the team.
Load trucks for customer deliveries with a high level of attention to detail and care.
Work guided by loading guidelines, methods, and established safety procedures.

Contribute to team goals and support the department through varied assigned duties.
Champion safety rules and regulations to ensure a secure workplace.
Promptly report any unsafe conditions to supervisors to help maintain our collective safety standards.
