Loader - Cylinder Truck
About The Position
The Loader - Cylinder Truck loads and unloads gas cylinders and other products onto and off route trucks and trailers. The role involves rolling cylinders, operating a forklift to move cylinders, sorting empty cylinders by type, checking quantities, styles, and products, and assisting with inventory. The Loader reviews customer orders, selects items from full inventory, and loads products onto delivery trucks. Additional duties include basic cylinder maintenance, such as painting and labeling, keeping the work area clean, preparing shipment paperwork, and completing routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments. This position is located in Morrisville, Pennsylvania, and is scheduled for the third shift.
Requirements
- High school degree or GED required.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Good leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- More than one year of manufacturing or plant experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload gas cylinders and other products onto and off route trucks and trailers.
- Roll cylinders and operate a forklift to move cylinders.
- Sort empty cylinders by type.
- Check cylinder quantities, styles, and products, and assist with inventory.
- Review customer orders, pull items from full inventory, and load items onto trucks for delivery.
- Perform basic cylinder maintenance, including painting and labeling cylinders, and clean the work area.
- Assist with shipment paperwork.
- Complete routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments.
