About The Position

Drive Medical is hiring a first-shift Warehouse Loader to load and unload trucks carrying medical equipment, including canes, wheelchairs, and in-home hospital beds. The role operates warehouse equipment to move, stage, organize, wrap, and secure products, while maintaining accurate shipment records and verifying orders. Loaders contribute to team performance in safety, quality, service, and continuous improvement. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The listed pay range is $19.80 to $22.50 per hour. Actual pay may vary based on factors including experience, specialization, education, and company requirements; the range excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and other compensation or benefits.

Requirements

Forklift experience is required.
Ability to operate a stand-up forklift and electric pallet jack is required.

Responsibilities

Load and unload medical equipment and accurately load customer orders into trailers.
Follow daily checklists for trailers and equipment.
Operate an electric pallet jack or pacer to move products, load and unload trailers, and organize the dock floor.
Stage equipment and use equipment to wrap and secure products to pallets.
Record pallets handled or moved on load manifest sheets and document trailers loaded.
Maintain loading accuracy and use the proper Bills of Lading (BOLs).
Verify orders are complete before shipping.
Communicate truck status to supervisors and other coordinators.
Use a banding machine to strap pallets when needed.
Participate in a continuous-improvement environment.
