About The Position

Under general supervision, supports production and shipping by locating, loading, making minor repairs, and moving production to the shipping area.

  • Ability to read and interpret specifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to write reports in the English language
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of supervisors and/or managers in the English language
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Regularly required to stand for long periods of time; walk; climbing stairs, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Locate required product by using load list.
  • Move product carefully to area to be loaded onto returnable carts to avoid damaging product.
  • Verify product has been QC’d before loading.
  • If product has a QC hold tag, make minor repairs (after being trained) or locate a repair person to correct.
  • Load the product onto returnable carts based on the load list.
  • Pull the carts over to the shipping area in load list order.
  • Work closely with the assembly builders and QC to make sure product is ready to ship when required.
  • Verify all product is secured onto the returnable carts.
  • Scan product to verify correct parts are on carts.
