About The Position
Custom Assembly, Inc. specializes in the assembly, warehousing, and distribution of recreational vehicles. It is a family-run organization that has been in business for more than 30 years. The Loader safely operates forklift equipment and manually moves materials to and from storage, and loads and unloads trailers. The role follows load plans, stages units and materials for counting and inspection, secures units for transit, and accurately completes shipping and receiving reports. The schedule is 1st shift, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at $18.43 per hour. Custom Assembly is an Equal Opportunity Employer, participates in E-Verify, and is a drug-free workplace. Requirements
- Two years of warehouse experience.
- Forklift driving certification or experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift equipment and manually move materials to and from storage.
- Load and unload trailers.
- Read and execute the load plan.
- Stage units and materials for counting and inspection.
- Ensure shipping reports accurately report units and materials shipped.
- Secure units with strapping to prevent damage or shifting during transit.
- Accurately complete receiving reports for units and materials received.
