About The Position

This position is responsible for managing freight flow by moving and loading freight manually, as well as using extendables and powered equipment like single and double pallet jacks. The role involves identifying, counting, separating, combining, and scanning freight using the warehouse management system, scales, and scanners. Maintaining records, logs, and forms is also a key part of the job. Additionally, the Loader will keep the work area organized, stack and move empty pallets using pallet jacks and/or powered equipment, and communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing regarding freight-related matters.

Requirements

Ability to manage freight flow through moving and loading freight manually as well as through extendables and powered equipment (e.g., single and double pallet jack).
Ability to identify, count, separate, combine, and scan freight utilizing the warehouse management system, terminal scales, and scanners.
Ability to maintain records, logs, and forms.
Ability to keep work area organized.
Ability to maintain freight flow through stacking empty pallets and moving empty pallets using a pallet jack and/or powered equipment.
Ability to communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates).
