About The Position
The Loader/Unloader Operator in Blend Mill Operations is responsible for loading and unloading materials and performing housekeeping duties. The role requires cross-training on various duties within the facility, maintaining a safe work environment, and following Tyson policies. The position is based at the Pine Bluff Blend Mill and is listed for the second shift. Starting pay is $18.10 per hour, plus a $2.00 shift premium.
Requirements
- Up to one year of PIT operations experience for Loader/Unloader Operators.
- Ability to climb, bend, and stoop for cleaning responsibilities.
- Ability to work in both cold and hot conditions.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Comfort working at heights above 20 feet.
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Operate loaders and skid steers for production purposes.
- Operate rail car moving loaders for production purposes.
- Load and unload rail cars.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Perform facility cleaning responsibilities.
- Measure and manage inventory.
- Cross-train on various job duties within the facility.
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies.
