About The Position

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Outbound Operation Supervisors at our Scranton, PA Service Center to manage dock and dispatch operations. This is a yearly Full-Time position with various shifts, Monday - Friday. Employees earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment.

Requirements

• Proven basic leadership experience
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Organizational skills
• Strong Communication skills
• Strong Logistical skills
• Solid problem-solving abilities
• Computer skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of the City, and surrounding areas

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of quality freight handling
• Prior LTL leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Driver and Freight Handler Management
• Coordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler scheduling
• Ensure Safety Compliance
• Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed
• Timely dispatching of LTL Loads
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager
