About The Position

Shirley is hiring a Loader Operator to operate rubber tire or track loaders at various jobsites. The role involves equipment upkeep, daily cleaning, reporting equipment deficiencies, and manual labor related to project support. Operators work outdoors in all seasons and must help uphold the company’s health and safety culture while maintaining positive relationships with customers and coworkers. The position is full-time and year-round. Start times vary between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM; overtime, nights, and weekends may be required. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. An onsite equipment try-out will be conducted.

Requirements

Experience operating heavy equipment; an onsite try-out will be conducted.
Must be willing to work outdoors in all seasons.
Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

GPS/UTS experience.

Responsibilities

Operate rubber tire or track loaders.
Perform general equipment maintenance, including greasing, checking fluid levels, and cleaning tracks.
Clean equipment daily.
Report equipment deficiencies to the foreman immediately.
Perform manual labor related tasks to support projects.
Ensure the company’s health and safety culture, policies, and requirements are met.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and coworkers.
