About The Position

Copart, Inc. is a global technology leader and the premier online vehicle auction platform. We are seeking a Loader Operator responsible for moving and loading vehicles using a company-provided front-end loader or forklift. This role involves maintaining documentation of vehicle movement, performing daily pre and post-trip inspections of assigned machinery, and ensuring a safe work environment by adhering to company guidelines for loader operation. The Loader Operator will also facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer needs, ensuring equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts, and operating company equipment safely. Additionally, the role includes assisting with equipment maintenance, accurately recording vehicle information, operating digital cameras or other documentation devices, setting up yards for auctions within company timelines, providing customer service, and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Following yard guidelines for safety, such as speed limits, is crucial. The position requires the ability to load and unload vehicles, pass training and safety requirements, and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

At least two years of work experience, preferably in an outdoor environment.
One year of loader or forklift experience.
Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Positive attitude/High Integrity.
Ability to operate heavy equipment.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Must be able to pass training and safety requirements.

Nice To Haves

HS diploma or GED preferred.
Loader or forklift certification preferred.
Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

Moving and loading vehicles with a company-provided front-end loader or forklift.

Operating digital camera or other basic vehicle documentation and tracking devices.

Providing service to customers as needed.
Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
Following yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment (e.g., speed limits).
Loading and unloading vehicles as required.
Passing training and safety requirements.
Performing other duties as assigned.
