About The Position

FNF Construction, Inc., a leading heavy civil general contractor serving the Southwestern United States, is seeking an experienced Loader Operator to support multiple paving operations on projects throughout the Southwest. The role operates a crawler or rubber-tired machine equipped with a loader bucket to load structures and dirt from excavations, trucks, pipe, and precast concrete structures. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

• One year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights and in confined spaces, and working in all types of weather.

Responsibilities

• Check oil, water, fuel, tires, and the hydraulic system, making appropriate adjustments to ensure the vehicle is in proper operating condition before leaving for the job site.
• Conduct safety and maintenance checks on assigned equipment and machinery.
• Start engines and operate throttles, switches, levers, and pedals to run machines.
• Signal truck drivers to position trucks for loading or unloading dirt, rocks, and other materials.
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions, including utility lines, other equipment, and falling objects.
• Perform equipment maintenance, including oiling, greasing, and making necessary adjustments.
