About The Position

OmniSource is seeking a Loader Operator to join their team. This role involves operating various material handling equipment safely and productively, performing minor equipment maintenance, loading containers, sorting scrap, and assisting with inventory management. The ideal candidate will be a reliable team player, able to work in various weather conditions and flexible hours, with a strong understanding of safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate multiple types of material handling equipment i.e. Dump Truck, Wheel Loader, Skid Steer Loader and Forklift, in a safe and productive manner.
Minor maintenance to equipment such as changing hoses, greasing machines, and making sure all fluids are filled.
Load Containers, sort scrap, sample material, any others duties as requested by Lead or supervisor.
Inspect Equipment prior to operation, fuel, lubricate daily.
Assist Lead and Supervisor with identification and tracking of all inventory upgrades and changes in classification to assist with perpetual inventory goals.
Ability to cross train on various equipment types.
All other duties as requested by Lead and Supervisor.
