About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This position operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. The role operates loader equipment safely to move, load, and stockpile materials. It requires performing routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks, following site safety procedures, and contributing to a safe work environment. Communication with team members to coordinate material flow and production needs is essential, as is supporting plant operations and assisting with other duties as needed. This position is part of a unionized environment. Terms and conditions of employment, including wages, benefits, and work schedules, are governed by the applicable collective agreement.
