About The Position

Berger is seeking a Loader Operator for their Plaster Rock facility. This role is responsible for daily plant feeding and requires reliability and diligence. The Loader Operator will use a loader to feed the plant with materials such as peat, perlite, vermiculite, and wood fibers. Key duties include maintaining clean work areas, ensuring proper pallet placement, optimizing equipment performance to reduce waste, and guaranteeing a constant plant supply according to the schedule.

Requirements

• Can use equipment such as a forklift
• Physically capable of lifting 55 lbs repeatedly
• Punctual, alert and responsible
• Likes to work in a team
• Available to work all shifts and weekends

Responsibilities

• Use a loader to feed the plant (peat, perlite, vermiculite and wood fibers)
• Keeps work areas clean and around at all the time
• Assures that the pallets are always correctly placed and always in good order
• Maintain good equipment performance and reduce waste
• Ensure the constant supply of the plant by following the schedule
