About The Position

This role involves operating a front-end loader to support hot mix asphalt production, ensuring efficient truck loading, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in safely operating heavy equipment, particularly front-end loaders
  • Strong awareness of safety practices in an industrial or construction environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing production needs
  • Dependable attendance and commitment to teamwork and reliability
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and report equipment issues
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

Responsibilities

  • Operate front-end loader to move, stockpile, and feed materials for hot mix asphalt production
  • Load trucks accurately and efficiently while maintaining product quality standards
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas and traffic flow within the plant
  • Communicate with plant personnel to support production targets and schedule demands
