About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role operates a front-end loader to move, load, and stockpile aggregate materials safely and efficiently. The position involves conducting pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working order, loading trucks and hopper systems according to production requirements and quality standards, and maintaining clean and organized work areas while following all safety procedures. Effective communication with team members and supervisors is essential for smooth daily operations.

Requirements

Proven ability to operate heavy equipment safely with strong awareness of surroundings
Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and commitment to safe work practices
Ability to follow instructions, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently or with a team
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency
Effective communication skills in a fast paced operational environment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.
