About The Position

Rogers Group, Inc., headquartered in Nashville, is a privately held aggregates and asphalt highway construction company operating in 13 states with over 3,500 employees. Established in 1908, RGI is the largest privately held aggregate producer in the United States. Rogers Group is seeking a Loader Operator for their Plant located in Bronte Texas. The successful candidate for this role will have at least one year experience in a production role and possess a strong commitment to safety excellence.

Requirements

• At least one year experience in a production role
• Uncompromising focus on safety excellence
• Previous fixed plant maintenance or related industry experience is required
• Knowledge of wash plant and crusher equipment
• Able to do safety and maintenance inspections throughout the day
• Capable of demonstrating equipment and troubleshooting knowledge
• Ability to understand basic safety and work instruction
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
• Team player mentality
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of experience operating a crushing plant preferred
• Experience working with crushers, conveyors and screens preferred

Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring a crushing facility
• Routine equipment / plant maintenance, and involvement with plant improvement projects
• Operating production equipment as needed – such as a haul truck, wheeled loader, or skid steer
• Clean-up around site
• Other duties as assigned
