About The Position

Greenhill Concrete is hiring a Loader Operator to operate a loader in the daily operations of an assigned concrete plant. The operator is expected to work safely and efficiently while following personal protective equipment (PPE) and process requirements. This position is classified as safety sensitive. The work is performed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools.
• Knowledge of mathematics, operation monitoring, operation and control, monitoring, coordination, and critical thinking.

Nice To Haves

• 2–3 years of heavy equipment operation experience in heavy highway or farm work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep the work area clean, orderly, and safe.
• Operate a loader.
• Perform minor maintenance and adjustments on equipment.
• Understand and use equipment for trenching, excavating, loading, leveling, rough grading, and finishing.
• Perform other concrete plant duties as needed.
