This position is a permanent full-time vacancy.

Requirements

Must possess valid Ontario drivers’ license.
Must have reliable transportation to the location.
OSSGD or equivalent.
Ability to work long hours
At least 18 years of age.
Passing Grade on Mechanical Aptitude Test, Math Skills Test and Literacy Test;
Prior experience in a General Maintenance role.
Prior experience operating mobile material handling equipment (the successful candidate must become certified to operate the Loader within a reasonable period of time following the awarding of the position).

Responsibilities

Operate the loader and conveyor systems feeding materials to the plant.
Snow removal, yard cleanup and grading as required on a daily basis.
Operating and monitoring boiler output and steam systems from late fall to early spring.
Removing debris from key areas of the yard.
Forming and stripping stockpiling and loading of returned concrete blocks.
Daily plant inspections/monitoring for obvious mechanical problems.
Demonstrate teamwork and positive attitude.
Other duties as assigned.
