About The Position
Berger is seeking a Loader Operator for their Hadashville facility. This role is responsible for feeding the plant daily with materials such as peat, perlite, vermiculite, and wood fibers. The ideal candidate is reliable, diligent, and enjoys operating equipment. Requirements
- Ability to operate equipment such as a forklift
- Physically capable of lifting 55 lbs repeatedly
- Punctual, alert, and responsible
- Ability to work in a team
- Available to work all shifts and weekends
Responsibilities
- Use a loader to feed the plant (peat, perlite, vermiculite and wood fibers)
- Keep work areas clean and around at all times
- Ensure pallets are always correctly placed and in good order
- Maintain good equipment performance and reduce waste
- Ensure the constant supply of the plant by following the schedule
