The Loader Operator will be responsible for moving and loading vehicles using a company-provided front-end loader or forklift. This role also involves maintaining documentation of vehicle movement within the facility, performing daily pre and post-trip inspections of assigned machinery, and ensuring associated documentation is completed. The operator must maintain a safe work environment, adhere to company guidelines for safe loader operation, and facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer needs through a thorough understanding of Copart policy. The role ensures equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts, operates company equipment safely, and assists with equipment and vehicle maintenance. Accurate and legible recording of vehicle information, operation of digital cameras or other documentation devices, and timely yard setup for auctions are also key responsibilities. The Loader Operator will provide customer service as needed, maintain a positive and professional demeanor, and follow yard guidelines for a safe working environment. The position requires the ability to load and unload vehicles, pass training and safety requirements, and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

HS diploma or GED preferred.
At least two years of work experience, preferably in an outdoor environment.
One year of loader or forklift experience, certification preferred.
Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Positive attitude/High Integrity.
Ability to operate heavy equipment.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Occasional O.T. as needed.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

Following yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment (i.e. speed limits, etc.).
Loading and unloading vehicles as required.
Passing training and safety requirements.
Performing other duties as assigned.
