Requirements

Must be able to work the 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:15 PM - 1:30 AM
Overtime as needed on Fridays & Saturdays

Responsibilities

Starts computers for automated finishing lines (primer, enamels, topcoat, etc.) and assures that all is correct and adjusts as needed.
Troubleshoots any problems on finishing lines i.e., dirty sensors, dirty or misaligned spray tips, etc.
Coordinates incoming work according to production and orders finish materials in a timely manner.
Prepares cleaning carts for belt cleaning and locks in.
Cleans spray gun tips and installs in booth.
Reviews paperwork and determines which finishes are needed as well as orders them throughout the shift.
Flushes pumps and lines as well as clean tips as needed to ensure efficient production.
Completes process sheets for jobs.
Runs tests at the beginning of shift and adjusts as necessary.
Conducts QC operations to ensure finish within specification (mil check, oven temperature, etc.)
Loads belt appropriately per order with starting and ending blocks.
Inspects components for flaws and fixes if possible or sends out for repair.
Runs rework through finishing lines as needed.
Cleans machines and assists with maintenance as needed.
Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species and paint colors and can differentiate between them.
