About The Position
Distribution Center Loaders are responsible for the efficient loading and unloading of products into and from trailers, including flatbeds. Prior forklift experience or the ability to operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner is required.

- Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds
- Long periods of standing & sitting
- Frequent bending and twisting
Responsibilities
- Loading & unloading of trailers, including flatbeds
- Maintain proper trailer weight distribution while maximizing trailer cubes/space
- Perform piece counts to verify accuracy
- Scan merchandise into inventory using scanning equipment.
- Print price tags and price merchandise accordingly.
- Break down merchandise into smaller quantities for shipping to retail locations.
- Responsible for accurate allocation of quantities.
- Submit packing slips and freight bills as necessary.
- Cross check quantities to packing slip, making necessary notations when needed.
- Load merchandise onto proper pallet, shrink wrap when necessary.
- Practice safety in the workplace by using safe work habits.
