About The Position

Maximus Global Services (MGS) is seeking a Load Control Agent at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport. This role is crucial for ensuring flight safety by finalizing load sheets and loading documents in accordance with airline standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
2-3 years’ experience in customer service at airport or similar entities.
Pass a background check
Computer literacy in MS Office packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
Must be able to read, write and speak English and Spanish.
Load Control Experience is required
Maintain a relationship with both employees and clients.
Supervisors must have a good working knowledge of management practices and principles so they can efficiently perform his job.
The job requires someone with critical thinking skills who can quickly observe a situation and make the appropriate response.
Must be eligible for CBP seal and pass the criminal background check to obtain the airport ID.

Responsibilities

Ensure on-time departure without compromising safety.
Ensure accurate computation of aircraft weight and balance.
Prepare and communicate to loading personnel (Agents) a load plan that is in line with Aircraft loading instruction processes.
Load planning shall consider fuel loads and distribution, Aircraft equipment, planned dead load, expected passenger load, fuel efficiency, special loads and shall always be performed in accordance with the Aircraft manufacturer and Company limitations.
Calculate accurately EZFW optimize fuel consumption and load planning.
Finalize load sheet showing load distribution, special loads and LMCS that conform to UR operating procedures.
Identify and report any hazards, near misses, incidents, and accidents.
Adhere to UR principles and practices.
Embrace and maintain a positive safety culture, a healthy and secure working environment in compliance with the relevant industry and legislative requirements.
