The Load Configuration Coordinator is responsible for communicating and partnering with our sales team and customers to effectively configure our trailer loads to meet the commitments we make to our dealers while ensuring compliance and safety in the transportation of heavy-duty equipment along America’s roadways.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / General Education Diploma (GED).
• Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and Enterprise Resource Planning systems, Visual preferred.
• Excellent verbal, nonverbal and written communication skills (telephone, email, face to face).
• Customer Service Experience.
• Understanding of basic mechanical and physical principles, good spatial reasoning skills, and the ability to apply these principles to solve problems.
• Strong tape measure reading skills or ability to apply learning.
• Highly motivated self-starter with an inclination to consistently apply critical and analytical thinking skills.
• Attention to Detail.
• Strong Organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Shipping experience preferred but not required.
• Extensive trailer knowledge across all models, preferable though not required.

Responsibilities

• Gather information from various sources (sales and dealers via verbal requests and emails) to understand products that need to be configured into a load for shipment to our customers.
• Manage trailer pack lists to ensure Custom Orders (CO’s) / additional parts are added onto load shipments.
• Communicate load discrepancies directly with dealer to determine solution on load shipment(s).
• Configure trailer loads to meet Department of Transportation (DOT) height and weight requirements.
• Design trailer loads using spatial reasoning skills and trailer sizes in order to ensure safe transportation of trailers to destination.
• Maintain reputable relationships with internal and external customers by delivering quality products with outstanding service while providing superior value to everyone associated with our company.
• Coordinate trailer loads with shipping teams across Novae to ensure the correct trailer products are being shipped to customers.
• Utilize the shipment calendar to assess trailer builds and determine when shipments are to be sent. Trailer loads should be configured prior to completion of the trailer build. Based on information changes with manufacturing or build schedules, perform reconfiguration of loads. Communicate with affected parties as necessary.
• Assist in other areas as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
