LNG Technician

About The Position

A Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Technician operates and maintains LNG equipment and systems for ongoing operations and new projects. Work includes LNG fueling for end-use customers, portable pipeline projects, and LNG peak shaving applications. The technician must live within 30 minutes of Manning LNG at 80 Energy Lane, Meshoppen, PA 18630.

Requirements

Must live within 30 minutes of Manning LNG at 80 Energy Lane, Meshoppen, PA 18630.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suites.
Knowledge of basic electrical construction tools, materials, and techniques.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Associate degree or relevant technical degree.
At least 3–5 years of related experience in LNG, industrial gases, or industrial maintenance.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

CDL-A commercial driver's license with tank and hazardous materials endorsements.

Responsibilities

Comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and codes.
Follow OSHA, UGI, and other applicable safety procedures.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot LNG equipment in support of LNG operations and projects.
Interpret electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and process flow diagrams (PFDs).
Complete and maintain activity logs according to company standards.
Coordinate effectively with UGI personnel, customers, site representatives, inspectors, local authorities, and others involved in LNG operations and projects.
Work in a shift position, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
Travel to support UGI projects and initiatives, including off-site assignments with extended overnight stays at other facility locations.
Cross-train and assist in LPG operations.
Troubleshoot PLC and HMI issues, including communications, databases, and PLC configuration.
