About The Position

The LMS/Training System Administrator is responsible for managing training assignment requests, independently creating and maintaining roles and curricula, and resolving escalated learner and manager inquiries. This role will support compliance training assignments within the Learning Management System (TEDS/Lumen/Cornerstone), ensuring that all mandatory training is accurately assigned and tracked to meet regulatory requirements. The administrator will participate in the efficient administration, operation, and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS), performing regular system checks, updates, and troubleshooting to maintain optimal functionality. They will create and maintain standardized roles and curricula for compliance training programs, ensuring consistency and alignment with learning policies and objectives. Additionally, the role provides comprehensive support for learner and manager requests, addressing issues related to training assignments, access issues, progress tracking, and record updates promptly and accurately. The administrator will collaborate with local Business Process Owners and Content Owners to accurately configure and assign training requirements, ensuring alignment with learning needs and regulatory standards. Finally, they will maintain up-to-date knowledge of LMS features and compliance training best practices, applying this knowledge to optimize training assignments and system configurations effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience LMS administration/support (TEDS, Cornerstone and/or Lumen preferred)
  • Experience within a highly regulated environment (FDA/ ISO 13485 Medical Device preferred)
  • Experienced with IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • Experienced with workflow automation
  • Proficient in Excel, KPI reporting, and data analysis
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in problem-solving/troubleshooting LMS or training-related challenges
  • Effective communicator, with the ability to interact confidently with learners, managers, and stakeholders
  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

  • Experience with Document Control and QMS Databases (ARIS/Windchill)
