About The Position

We are Vista Global Solutions, LLC (VGS), a health solutions IT firm, supporting several government contracts with military installations and federal agencies. We are seeking a Senior LMS Developer to support our ongoing mission in Falls Church, VA. This role serves as the primary architect of our enterprise learning ecosystem, transforming the LMS from a simple repository into a high-performance engine. You won't just manage a platform; you will design scalable solutions that link learning outcomes to mission-critical readiness.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance or Public Trust (Tier III) required
  • 14+ years of experience in LMS development, administration, or learning technologies
  • Experience with enterprise LMS platforms (e.g., Cornerstone, Moodle, Blackboard, etc.)
  • Strong experience with workflow automation, reporting tools, and dashboards
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory
  • Ability to lead technical teams and interface with senior leadership

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting DoD or federal health systems (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end architecture of scalable LMS solutions, integrating complex credentialing, CE tracking, and advanced analytics.
  • Architect scalable LMS solutions integrating CE tracking, credentialing, reporting, and analytics
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to keep our training infrastructure at the cutting edge.
  • Align LMS capabilities with program management tools including dashboards, schedules, and risk tracking systems.
  • Integrate LMS data with enterprise dashboards to support leadership decision-making and program oversight.
  • Support development of integrated systems linking learning activities to performance metrics and readiness outcomes.
  • Develop high-level metrics to evaluate program effectiveness, identifying gaps and trends before they impact performance.
  • Bridge the gap between LMS data and enterprise dashboards, providing leadership with a clear view of readiness and patient safety outcomes.
  • Link training activities directly to organizational KPIs and clinical performance metrics.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on instructional design and learning methodologies, aligning tech capabilities with long-term DHA goals.
  • Draft and implement the business rules and policies that ensure our systems remain compliant with DoD and DHA standards.
  • Lead cross-functional working groups, facilitating collaboration between clinical staff, J-7 divisions, and external partners.
  • Design specialized systems for simulation-based training and inter-professional education.
  • Develop advanced methodologies to measure how training translates into improved patient safety and clinical excellence.
