The Mobile Crisis Supervisor is responsible for supervising the delivery of services in the Living Room Program in accordance with all program guidelines. This role manages the DAYTIME Living Room system, including referral intake and/or client emergencies. The supervisor also assists with 24/7 on-call responsibilities to ensure staff members have access to leadership at all times. Key duties include reviewing client intake information, determining referral acceptance and case assignment, overseeing case responsibilities, and providing guidance in case planning. The supervisor provides weekly supervision to professional and para-professional staff on therapeutic approaches and administrative case support, reviews all written documents created by staff, and ensures consistency in case files. They also review funding source policies and procedures, update procedures to meet state requirements, and train staff. Ensuring staff handles unusual incidents promptly and effectively, completing various outcome reports, and participating in required meetings and trainings with the funding source are also critical aspects of the role. The supervisor provides staff with training, education, ongoing supervision, and support, and engages staff in professional development. They monitor program expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints and adherence to contractual obligations. Billing accuracy and timeliness are essential, including completing billing procedures for private contracts when necessary. The role involves handling client, staff, caretaker, and/or collateral complaints and grievances, and conducting regular unit/team meetings with staff. Participation in collateral and community groups to promote agency programs, creating community linkages, and public speaking engagements are also part of the role. The supervisor participates in agency management meetings and work groups, and assists CQI in developing agency documentation to enhance programming and meet funding source requirements. Ensuring quality of service and achievement of program outcome goals is paramount. The supervisor may provide direct service to children and families in the absence of assigned staff, and manages case assignments to ensure equal distribution and appropriate staff-to-client ratios. They ensure adequate client contact is maintained in accordance with program guidelines and minimum required contact hours are achieved. Client safety monitoring and appropriate responsiveness to risk situations are crucial. The supervisor completes and submits performance appraisals in a timely manner and maintains a positive organizational culture. They also oversee interns and perform duties independently.
