About The Position

The Floor Manager at The Living Room is responsible for ensuring seamless nightly operations and elevated guest experiences in a high-energy, entertainment-driven lounge setting. This leadership role requires mastery of flow, guest psychology, and pacing — supporting service, ambiance, and guest safety in collaboration with the bar, host, and security teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a high-end lounge, nightlife, or luxury hospitality setting
  • Deep understanding of nightlife dynamics, service pacing, and VIP handling
  • Confident leader with a polished guest-facing presence
  • Familiarity with POS systems, nightlife reservation platforms, and basic event coordination
  • Comfortable working evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong floor presence with fast decision-making and graceful authority
  • Ability to balance service style with crowd management and safety
  • Charismatic communicator with emotional intelligence
  • High attention to detail in environment, staffing, and guest experience

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead service during all operational hours, maintaining rhythm, energy, and precision
  • Manage section flow, table timing, and VIP prioritization in coordination with the Maître D’ and Hosts
  • Ensure all team members are executing service with confidence, style, and warmth
  • Liaise with bar, kitchen, and security teams to ensure nightly alignment and safety
  • Greet and engage high-profile, VIP, and returning guests with professionalism and discretion
  • Resolve guest concerns swiftly, creatively, and in alignment with Faena’s elevated service culture
  • Monitor and manage ambiance (music, lighting, scent, room pacing) throughout the evening
  • Act as point of escalation for floor-level issues including overcapacity, guest behavior, or service lapses
  • Support training and onboarding of all front-of-house staff in service etiquette, menu knowledge, and nightlife protocols
  • Lead nightly pre-shift meetings and communicate key updates or programming
  • Coach team in-the-moment during service and provide follow-up notes or recognition
  • Monitor uniform compliance, team presence, and interdepartmental communication
  • Ensure venue is set to standard before doors open, and reset properly at close
  • Support with scheduling, timeclock approvals, and performance feedback
  • Assist in event execution and service logistics for programming or private functions
