About The Position

We’re looking for a LiveOps Associate to support the day-to-day operations of the platform and ensure Kumu runs smoothly 24/7. This role covers moderation, backend processing, and real-time operational support. You will monitor platform activity, respond to issues, and execute tasks that keep the system, creators, and users running without disruption. This is an execution-driven role —you are expected to act quickly, maintain high standards, and ensure issues are resolved in real time.

  • Comfortable working shifting schedules (24/7 coverage)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
  • Able to act quickly and make sound decisions in real time
  • Good communication skills (clear and concise)
  • Tech-savvy; able to navigate multiple tools and systems

  • Experience in moderation, operations, or support is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Platform Monitoring & Moderation: Monitor live streams, in-app activities, and user behavior. Enforce platform policies and take action on violations. Respond quickly to issues impacting user experience or safety.
  • Backend Processing: Execute operational tasks (e.g., payouts, adjustments, account actions). Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all processing tasks. Flag inconsistencies or anomalies for review.
  • Real-Time Operations Support: Act as the first line of response for platform issues. Escalate critical problems with clear context and urgency. Coordinate with internal teams to resolve incidents.
  • Reporting & Visibility: Maintain clear logs of actions taken and issues encountered. Provide structured updates during and after shifts. Surface recurring issues and suggest improvements.
