About The Position

Executive Language Training (ELT) is a premier language service provider based in the United States, specializing in delivering customized language training to expatriates and their families. ELT is seeking a qualified and experienced Japanese language teacher for two live online programs for adults. The first program is for an amusement park professional relocating to Osaka in August, aiming to pass the JLPT N3 proficiency test. This involves unlimited hours, 60-minute lessons twice per week, available Wednesday and Sunday mornings EDT. The second program is for a native English speaker relocating to Osaka with her spouse in August, focusing on basic daily communication skills in a highly structured manner. This also involves unlimited hours, 60-minute lessons twice per week, available Mondays through Thursdays, 9am-Noon EDT.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Proven experience teaching language live online.
• Proven experience in teaching Japanese to non-native speakers.
• Strong understanding of language acquisition and pedagogical methods.

Responsibilities

• Teach Japanese language live online to adults.
• Prepare participants for the JLPT N3 proficiency test.
• Teach basic daily communication skills in a structured manner.
• Deliver 60-minute lessons twice per week for each program.
• Adapt teaching methods to individual learner needs and goals.
